Coming Home Court 2023 Information
SPECIFIC COURT INFORMATION
**There will be a mandatory rehearsal, Wednesday, January 25th at 3:45 in the gym.
**All girls and guys must be at school dressed and ready to go by 4:15 pm on Friday, January 27th. Pictures will be made in front of the cafeteria at this time. Parents may come watch. The ceremony will take place between the girls and boys games.
** The Coming Home Ceremony is between the girls and guys game on Friday, January 27th.
**You are required to wear a tuxedo from Street Tuxedo in Murfreesboro. You must get fitted for their tuxedos ASAP - by Friday, January 14th. Street Tuxedo is at 536 North Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro, TN 37130. Tell the people there that you are LHS Homecoming Court members. These tuxedos are FREE, BUT they do charge a $25 cleaning fee. Please thank the store clerks! You will be responsible for your fitting, picking up, and returning your tuxedo. If you would like Mrs. Crutchfield to RETURN your tuxedo for you, you must change out of it after the ceremony and return it to Mrs. Crutchfield oy BEFORE the end of the 1stquarter of the boy’s basketball game.
Coming Home Escorts
**All escorts should wear LONG formal dresses that are either royal blue, black, or white. These DO NOT have to be ball gowns, but they do need to be floor length. It cannot be low in the back, there should be no cleavage showing, and there should not be a high slit. These must be approved by Mrs. Crutchfield by Tuesday, January 17th.
