Journalism

The primary goal of any journalism program should be for students to improve both oral and written 
communication skills. Journalism programs should offer students the opportunity to improve speech skills, 
research skills, grammar usage, and interview skills as well as production skills for both print and 
broadcast. 
Content Standards: 
The student will understand and utilize oral, written, and visual communication.
