As part of ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act), the Tennessee Department of Education identifies Focus schools based on overall performance and/or performance of a particular subgroup. For the 21-22 school year, LHS was identified as an Additional Targeted Support and Improvement (ATSI) school for one of our subgroups, Students with Disabilities. Please read the letter below from Dr. Hatchett for information on what this means and our plan for improvement.
