About Mrs. Crutchfield
Hello! I am an ESL teacher at LaVergne High School. I am married to Mr. Tony Crutchfield (the Nutrition Manager and announcer at LHS). We love traveling and hiking together. I have two sweet stepsons - Caleb and Bennett - and one baby son on the way (November). As a family, we love card games and hiking.
My passion is to work with students who are new to the country and are learning English. My desire is to help students adjust socially, academically, and linguistically.
I have traveled to several countries and have experienced many different cultures myself. I have visited the Dominican Republic, France, London, Scotland, China and Switzerland and have lived in Spain for four months. I have taken Spanish and Chinese classes, which has better helped me understand how to help English Language Learners.
