Welcome to Coach Carter's P.E. Class

Welcome!

My name is Steve Carter (Coach Carter) and I am starting year 12 @ LaVergne High School. I taught at LaVergne Middle for four years before I moved over to the high school.  This is my 19th year in education.  I have a twenty year old son that joined the Marines this summer and a 15 year old who is a sophomore in high school.  I am very passionate about fitness for myself and for my students.  I enjoy getting my students outside of their comfort zone in P.E class and teach them different types of exercise, activity and games that they may have not been exposed to before.  I look forward to meeting each one of my students and hope to challenge each one of you to a better overall level of fitness.
