About Me

I am entering my 8th year of teaching and my 2nd year of teaching at LHS. In the past I have taught the following subjects: Biology, Physical Science, ACT Prep. This will be my first year as part of the math department and I'm super excited to be the math nerd I was always meant to be.

 

I grew up in Knoxville, TN and attended Central High School (GO BOBCATS!!). I stayed close to home for college and in 2012 graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Kinesiology with a minor in nutrition. I moved to Nashville in 2013 to work as a health coach but ended up shifting gears out of my intended career to become a teacher. 

 

The same year I became a teacher I met my wife Morgan. We live in the Christiana area now with 2 children. Will is 5 and starting Kindergarten and Sophie is 2. When I'm not at school, I soak up every minute I can with my kiddos because being a dad is without a doubt the best adventure I've ever been on. We love Disney, playing baseball, and going to the beach as often as we can.
