About Me

I am incredibly enthusiastic about being a member of the faculty here at LHS! After a lengthy career in the corporate finance world I returned to school and obtained a B.S. in History with minors in Political Science and Secondary Education from Middle Tennessee State University. I also hold a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Belmont University. From a young age I knew I wanted to be in the classroom and I am excited to be here working with each of you and celebrating your successes.

Learning economics and government are really about preparing yourself for the world after high school, whether you continue your education or join the workforce. Together we will determine how each of the concepts that seem broad and foreign apply to our daily lives.

Above all else I respect each student and their right to a challenging but achievable educational experience. In additional to my responsibilities in the classroom, I am a dean, co-sponsor of the Beta Club, and assistant Girls' Soccer coach. I strongly encourage all students to seek academic achievement, leadership, and service opportunities and I will support your however possible in these endeavors.

Please do not hesitate to stop by my classroom (B211) or send me an email if you have any questions or anything you want to discuss. See you soon!
