About Me

Hi, my name is Frank Cathey. I am one of the instructors in the CTE Networking pathway at LHS. I have a B.S. and Masters degree, both from MTSU. I started the IT program at LHS in 2002. I am one of the SkillsUSA advisors at LHS. I am the advisor for the Wolverine Computer Club and run the after school repair shop. I am very passionate about providing students with job skills, experience, and industry certifications that will allow them to land jobs after high school or make an easy transition to a technical school or college. We started our computer repair shop, Wolverine Computer, in 2009 to give students work experience, to provide a service to our community, and help pay for students industry certification exams. We opened our PearsonVue test center in 2010, to allow students to take their CompTIA exams right in our classroom.
