Welcome to Mr. Greuter's ESL/ELA Courses!
About Mr. Greuter:
"I am a professional ESL educator and have been teaching ELLs in China for 9 years and this is my second year here at LaVergne! I've worked with ELL-specific curriculum regarding English language arts, social studies/history, Mathematics, Biology, ESL test preparation, IGCSE/A-Levels and the International Baccalaureate's Language Acquisition framework. Working with English language learners across so many programs, curricula and cultures has been an important part of my growth as an educator and in developing my own awareness of best practices and the language learning process."

ELD Course info:
Instructional Goals are based in WIDA and ELA English literacy standards across writing, listening, speaking, and with a large focus on reading; We identify reading skills as cognitively correlating to general learning skills, and connect literacy with learning proficiency, therefore becoming a good reader is becoming a good learner and if you can learn anything, you can do anything. So we'll be reading--and therefore reaching--for the stars.
