Week of Sept. 6-9

This week we will complete our quinceanera project and we will be learning the Spanish speaking countries of the world by completing maps that I will post here.  If you do these at home, you will need to print out the maps and they will be a grade this week.  You can find the Spanish speaking country maps in the front of the textbook.  These pages are bordered in green and you will look for Norteamerica for Mexico and Centroamerica for central american countries, el caribe for carribbean countries (3) and europa for Spain and Africa for the one country in African that speaks Spanish.  The question we will add this week is De donde eres?  Sorry but this application will not allow symbols.

Spanish 1 Aug 29-Sept 2

This week we completed extra practice on greetings, good-byes, alphabet and spelling and completed retakes, and make ups of CFA 1.  We also began our Qunceanera proyecto.  Attached is the handout for the project explaining it all and an example powerpoint to guide you through creating your own powerpoint about the quinceanera you planned out.  It must have a total of eight slides:  slide one is the title slide, slides 2-7 are the 6 areas of planning and research and slide 8 is the works cited page where you site at least 6 sources you searched in planning this quinceanera.  You will submit it by sharing it with me for grading.  [email protected]

Hi Everyone,

Below are the assignments for this week.  We will review in class with a jeopardy game, we have a quizlet and a nearpod this week and I will post link information as it is taught.  And we have handouts.  We will read through the dialogue in the textbook on page 5 and complete activities 7 and 8.  You can access your textbook by going to the school website and go through clever. It is a black icon that has a CL for Carnegie Learning and go to the content library and look for the green student edition textbook.

Spanish 1 week 2 aug 15-19

This week we completed the crossword puzzle, the cartoon bubble sheet and the classroom expressions and greetings and good-byes worksheet.  We are studying the Spanish alphabet on page 2 in the textbook and I am adding the link to the alphabet song in Spanish.
