Photosynthesis

LIGHT DEPENDENT REACTION  aka Light reaction (occurs in the Thylakoid)
H2O + ADP + NADP+ = O2 + NADPH + ATP
Energy source is SUNLIGHT
Reactants: H2O + ADP + NADP+
Products: O2 + NADPH + ATP

LIGHT INDEPENDEDNT REACTION aka Dark reaction or Calvin Cycle (occurs in Stroma)
CO2 + ATP + NADPH = C6H12O6 + NADP+
Energy source is ATP and NADPH
Reactants: CO2 + ATP + NADPH
Products: C6H12O6 + NADP+

NADPH and NADP+
A hydrogen carrying molecule involved with photosynthesis
NADPH is carrying hydrogen and is fully charged.
NADP+ is hydrogen absent and has a low battery.

PHOTOSYNTHESIS
6 H2O + 6 CO2 = 6 O2 + C6H12O6
