ACT/SAT Information
To receive a regular high school diploma, all students enrolled in a Tennessee public school during their eleventh (11th) grade year must take the ACT. The ACT is given to students free of charge during the spring of their junior year. Students are also eligible for a free retake during the fall of their senior year. Students may also sign up to take the ACT on a national test date, although test fees apply. More information about the ACT can be obtained from visiting the website www.act.org (ACT).
